Sometimes it feels like it sucks to be a woman, doesn't it?! Monthly PMT, pregnancy, childbirth and if that's not enough Mother Nature serves us menopause!
But, it is also pretty amazing! Whether we did or not, our bodies are designed to grow another person!! It's, for this reason, we have these amazing stages in life - childhood to puberty and our fertile baby-growing years and then, finally menopause, the end of our reproductive years but also the start of a whole lot of life to live without periods - yay!!

Through each of these stages, our bodies change and menopause is no different. As we get older and enter menopause it's more important than ever to take good care of ourselves.

Menopause is different for every woman, some will experience aches and pains that were never there before, some have hot flushes, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, mood swings and irritability and of course, weight gain.
The good news, we will be working with you on reaching and then managing a healthy weight, which can also help ease the other negative side effects of menopause.

When I refer to menopause, I am including all the stages of menopause, as explained below.

Stages:
Perimenopause: the time before Menopause, typically happens between 45 - 55 years of age, but can be sooner or later. During this time you may experience menopausal symptoms but still have a period, even if it has become more irregular or even more regular if you're anything like me!
Menopause: defined as the day 12 months after you have had your last period, can literally be considered as a one-day event as you immediately move into.....
Post Menopause: defined as the time that you have gone without a period for 12 months or longer.
If you have or are gaining weight as you go through menopause, the good news is that I am going to show you how, by doing things a little differently and by looking after yourself, you can reach and manage a healthy weight.
